DELE Spanish Diplomas

The DELE Spanish Diploma is an official qualification certifying the degree of competence and mastery of Spanish, granted by Instituto Cervantes on behalf of the Ministry of Education and Vocational Training of Spain and, Ministry of Foreign Affairs. DELE Diplomas are official certificates issued by the Instituto Cervantes in the name of the Spanish Ministry of Education and Vocational Training which recognize the level of knowledge of the Spanish language.

The DELE Spanish Diploma is internationally recognized by private companies, chambers of commerce, and public and private teaching institutions. In some countries, DELEs have been included by education authorities and education centers within their own assessment programs. They are indicated to facilitate professional promotion and access to education both in Spain and in over one hundred countries where these tests are carried out. Ultimately, they constitute a tool for personal promotion in the academic and professional fields.

The DELE examinations have been designed following the guidelines of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) of the Council of Europe.

In Italy, the DELE Spanish Diploma is recognized as official qualifications as established by the Decree of the General Director of 12/07/2012 Prot. Nº AOODGAI / 10899 and Ministerial Decree of 7/03 / 2012 Prot. AOOUFGAB0003889 of the Ministero dell'Istruzione, dell’Università e della Ricerca (Italian Ministry of Education, University and Research)

The following documents must be sent via email (ist.dele@isturin.it):

- Registration form for each candidate completed in all fields (including postal address, email, telephone) and signed. It is essential to provide a valid and unique e-mail address when registering.

- Copy of a valid identity document (identity card or passport) containing photograph, name and surname, place and date of birth, nationality.

- Document certifying payment of the registration fee by bank transfer or credit card.

- Completed invoicing data form (see below).

Results & Other

 

  • Results:

DELE exam results will be available within approximately three months of taking the written tests. The headquarters of the Instituto Cervantes will inform candidates about the publication of the results by e-mail to the address provided at the time of registration. Candidates will access their official certificate in their personal space on the Instituto Cervantes portal.

Therefore, it is essential to provide a valid and unique e-mail address when registering. IST does not know in advance the date of publication of the results.

 

  • Certificates/Diplomas:

The paper certificate/official hard copy of the Diploma will be available at the exam center approximately 3 months after the results are published. We will send you an email with the information to be able to collect the paper Diploma.

    - May, November 2022 and May 2023 sessions: The official DELE diplomas of May and November 2022 and May 2023 sessions are available at our office. The diploma can be collected at our office during opening hours (from 9:00 to 16:30) provided with an identity document or by a specially delegated person.

    For schools: collection can be made by the reference teacher, by a person delegated explicitly by the school, by the holder of the diploma, or by a specifically delegated person. Kindly please inform IST first to prepare the Diplomas. We can also send the Diplomas by mail but a written request with the names of the students must be sent to ist.dele@isturin.it 

 

  • Authentication and verification of the certificates:

The Certificate has a legal status. The Instituto Cervantes has a system by which any organization, center, or individual can electronically verify and contrast, using a code, the authenticity of the DELE qualification certificates.
